FAQ

Every time I need a plumber, I get a lot of answering machines. It's very frustrating not knowing when and if someone will call me back. How does your company take the calls? 

All your calls will be answered in a prompt, professional and friendly manner, by a live person. Our office is open 5 days a week Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 4:15 pm. During the hours that the office is closed, your calls will be received by our 24 hour live answering service. Your message will immediately be forwarded to someone from our company, who will then return your call to determine your needs. At that time, we will either dispatch a technician or schedule your appointment as per your request. When the office is closed, the technicians still keep working. Our regular service hours are from 8am to 7pm, Monday thru Saturday and emergency service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What do you charge per hour?

Our prices are based per job, not per hour. We feel that this works out in the clients best interest. All prices and options are given to you in writing before the work is started, so there are no surprise charges. Once we quote a price for the job and you decide to proceed, we stick to that price. Whether the job takes 2 hours or an unforeseen 8 hours, that price does not change

Do you guarantee your work?

All labor and company supplied materials automatically comes with a 12 month warranty, unless otherwise stated (excludes stoppages). Some of our company supplied products even come with an extended 5 or 10 year warranty. The best part is, if there is ever a problem with something we installed or repaired, you receive priority service. You will also have the comfort and reassurance of knowing that someone will respond to your needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

One plumber gave me a price over the phone, but when he arrived he raised the price and told me the job was much more involved than he expected from our phone conversation. Do you honor your price quotes?

It is practically impossible to quote an accurate price over the phone. Even a ballpark figure could be troublesome. The company winds up either quoting at the high end of the scale to cover themselves or at the low end, in order to get in the door. Until a job is thoroughly examined in person, a proper diagnosis is very difficult to determine. There could be many variables to the job in order to complete the work in an efficient and reliable manner. Our price quotes are straight forward and upfront before the work is started and after the job is inspected. So yes, we do honor our quotes. We stick to the agreed upon price, even if the job takes longer than anticipated. But no, we will not quote prices over the phone. It wouldn't be fair to the company or the client.

Whenever I need a plumber, I have to stay home all day and wait and sometimes they don't even show up. Do you schedule your calls in a manner that I may have a general idea as to the plumbers ETA?

Absolutely! We will schedule your appointment within a 2 hour window that's convenient for you. Sometimes we can even narrow it down more than that. We know your time is very valuable. You will never be in the position of waiting and wondering. If due to unforeseen circumstances we are running late, or worst case scenario could not make it at all (e.g. extreme weather conditions), you would immediately be notified of any deviation from the schedule. At that time you would have the option of having us dispatch the next available technician or rescheduling your appointment at another time that may be more convenient for you. Let's say you have one day off a week to do all your errands and you can't afford to waste any of it waiting for the technician. Maybe even the 2 hour window is too much. Have a cell phone? At your request, you can go about your errands and we will contact you on your cell when we know exactly what time the technician will be arriving so that you can plan your errands and still make it home to meet us without waiting. Now how's that for service!

What happens if I have an emergency in the middle of the night?

We will be at your service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During the hours that the office is closed, our 24 hour live answering service will take your call and immediately page someone from our company. The representative will then call you back within a few minutes of receiving the page and determine if you would like service at that time. If so, we will immediately dispatch a technician, no matter what time of night it is.

I dread when the plumber has to come because I always wind up having to clean up after him. Are your plumbers neat?

Our technicians are not only friendly and courteous, but also very neat. Before we step into your home, the first thing the technician will do is put on floor savers (shoe booties), to prevent tracking any dirt in from the outside. We know it's difficult and a lot of work to keep a house clean, so we don't make your job harder. We are equipped with floor savers, tarps and mats so the mess never ends up on your floor or carpet. We also take to the job some great and safe cleaning products, your bathroom or kitchen sink may even be cleaner when we leave than it was when we arrived. Every home is treated with the care we would give our own homes and more.

Do you have a service fee? If so, how much is it?

Providing for you the level of service that we feel you deserve does cost the company money. In order for us to have your calls answered by a live person every time, to be able to arrive at your home in a timely fashion with a fully stocked truck prepared to take care of almost any job from water heaters to toilets right there on the spot, to be equipped with both the right tools for the job and the necessary materials to keep your home clean, to continually send our technicians for the latest training courses so that we may stay educated and on top of an ever changing and evolving industry, we must have a service fee. However, during our regular business hours of 8am-7pm Monday thru Saturday we waive our service fee, when you proceed with the job. Actually, we like to call it a diagnostic fee. The technicians take a lot of time and care into determining a proper diagnosis, then all your options are given to you in writing so that you may choose which option works best for you. The fee varies depending on where you are located and what day or time of day it is (e.g. Sundays, Midnight service, etc.). All this information is disclosed to you upon booking the call. There are no surprises with us, all information is given to you upfront.

Do you give senior discounts?

We do offer senior citizens discounts. Just mention to the technician that you are a senior citizen and he will apply a 10% discount to your bill. For those of our clients who are not seniors, we do have coupons and a referral program that may apply, which will offer you a savings as well. Just ask the technician when he arrives at your home.

Do you offer service contracts?

At this time we do not offer service contracts. However, our warranties cover both parts and labor on company supplied materials. These warranties range anywhere from 1 to 10 years, depending on the item installed. Also, if there is ever a problem with our materials or installation, you receive priority service and a live person is standing by 24 hours a day to take your call.

What method of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, personal or business check and cash.
